SignalWealth is a CRM, client portal and marketing platform for financial advisors, made by SignalWealth Inc. The SignalWealth CRM app connects an advisor's own Zoom account to their SignalWealth workspace.
Already use SignalWealth? Sign in to your workspace (for example crm.signalwealth.io, or your firm's own CRM address), open Settings → Integrations and click Connect Zoom. Steps are below.
New to SignalWealth? SignalWealth is for financial advisory firms. See plans and pricing or book a walkthrough.
What it does
- Zoom links, made for you. When a client books a meeting on your SignalWealth booking page, or you schedule a meeting from a client's record or your calendar, SignalWealth creates the Zoom meeting on your Zoom account and puts the join link in the calendar event and the confirmation emails.
- Automatic meeting notes (optional). When a meeting you scheduled with a client in SignalWealth is recorded to the Zoom cloud, SignalWealth brings in the transcript (or the audio) and writes the notes on that client's record: a short summary, key points and a suggested follow-up you can turn into a task in one click.
SignalWealth only works with the Zoom account of the person who connected it. It never joins your meetings and never records them; you decide what to record in Zoom.
Before you start
- A SignalWealth account (advisor or staff user in a SignalWealth workspace).
- A Zoom account. Any Zoom plan works for Zoom links.
- For automatic meeting notes: a Zoom plan with cloud recording (Zoom Pro or higher), and the AI notes add-on on your SignalWealth workspace. Zoom's optional Audio transcript setting gives better notes with speakers named.
Adding the app
- Sign in to SignalWealth and go to Settings → Integrations.
- Under Zoom Integration, click Connect Zoom. (You can also start from the SignalWealth CRM listing in the Zoom App Marketplace; it brings you to the same place.)
- Sign in to Zoom if asked, review the permissions and click Allow.
- You're back in SignalWealth, and the Zoom section shows Connected with your Zoom email.
If something goes wrong, see Troubleshooting.
Permissions the app asks for
- Create meetings (
meeting:write:meeting): to make the Zoom meeting for each meeting you schedule in SignalWealth. - View your user information (
user:read:user): to show which Zoom account is connected and to recognize Zoom's notifications for your account. - View your cloud recordings (
cloud_recording:read:list_user_recordings,cloud_recording:read:recording): used only when you turn on Automatic meeting notes, to find and download the recording or transcript of a meeting you scheduled with a client in SignalWealth.
Zoom links for your meetings
Booking page. In Settings → Calendar & Booking, edit a meeting type and set Video call to Zoom (the default). When a client books, the Zoom meeting is created at the booked time and length, and the join link goes into your calendar and both confirmation emails.
Meetings you schedule. On a client's record or in Calendar, click New Event. Under Video link, choose Create a Zoom meeting (picked for you when Zoom is connected), fill in the time and click Save Event. The join link is saved on the event and synced to your Google or Outlook calendar if you connected one.
Use case: a prospect books an intro call from your website; the Zoom link is in their confirmation email and on your calendar with nothing for you to do.
Automatic meeting notes
Turning it on
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Zoom. Under Automatic meeting notes, read the consent statement and tick it: you confirm that you get each client's consent before recording, as your state's law and your compliance rules require. That confirmation, with its date, is stamped on every note written this way.
- Click Turn on.
- In Zoom's web settings, under Recording, make sure Cloud recording is on (and Audio transcript, if your plan has it).
Using it
- Schedule the meeting in SignalWealth (booking page, client record or calendar) so it has a Zoom link and a client.
- In the meeting, click Record → Record to the cloud.
- When the meeting ends and Zoom finishes processing the recording (usually a few minutes), SignalWealth brings it in. About 10 to 15 minutes later the notes appear on the client's record under Meeting notes, and in the client's notes.
Only meetings you scheduled with a client in SignalWealth are imported, so the notes always land on the right client. Any other Zoom meeting you record is ignored, and nothing is downloaded for it.
What you get: a summary of what was discussed and agreed, key points (amounts, dates, accounts, concerns), a suggested next step with an Add as task button, the transcript, an audio-only copy of the recording you can play, and the consent stamp. Delete removes the notes, transcript and recording.
Turning it off: click Turn off in the same place. Notes already written stay on your clients' records.
Removing the app
Either of these removes the app:
- From SignalWealth: go to Settings → Integrations → Zoom and click Disconnect.
- From Zoom: sign in at marketplace.zoom.us, go to Manage → Added Apps, find SignalWealth CRM and click Remove.
What happens: SignalWealth deletes your stored Zoom tokens and Zoom account identifiers, its access to your Zoom account is revoked, and automatic meeting notes stop (you would tick the consent statement again after reconnecting). New bookings go out without a Zoom link until you reconnect or choose another video option. Zoom meetings already created stay in your Zoom account, and the links already saved on your calendar events keep working.
Your data after removal: meeting notes already written are part of your firm's client records, so they stay until you delete them (each one has a Delete link) or ask us to. To have all Zoom-related data deleted, email support@signalwealth.io with the subject "Data Deletion Request", or see our Data Deletion page. We respond within 30 days.
Your data
Zoom tokens are stored encrypted. Recordings and transcripts are stored encrypted, are visible only to people in your firm who can open that client's record, and are never shared with other firms or used to train AI models. Audio is transcribed by ElevenLabs and summaries are written by Anthropic's Claude, as our service providers. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Troubleshooting
- "Could not connect Zoom" after allowing: try again from Settings → Integrations. If your Zoom admin limits which apps can be added, ask them to approve SignalWealth CRM.
- A booked meeting has no Zoom link: check that Zoom shows Connected and that the meeting type's Video call is set to Zoom.
- No meeting notes appeared:
- Was it recorded to the cloud? Recordings saved to your computer can't be imported. Upload the file on the client's Meeting notes instead.
- Was the meeting scheduled in SignalWealth, with a client, using its Zoom link? Other meetings are ignored.
- Is Automatic meeting notes on, and does your workspace have the AI notes add-on?
- If Settings says to reconnect Zoom to allow recordings, click Disconnect, then Connect Zoom, and allow the recording permissions.
- Long recordings can take Zoom a while to process. Notes appear within a few hours at most.
- Notes failed: the client's Meeting notes shows why, with Try again.
FAQ
Does SignalWealth record my meetings or join them? No. You record in Zoom. SignalWealth only reads cloud recordings of meetings you scheduled with a client in SignalWealth, and only with Automatic meeting notes turned on.
Who sees the notes? People in your firm who can open that client's record.
Does it cost anything? Zoom links are included. Meeting notes are part of the AI notes add-on ($29 a month, or included with the Signature and Persona plans), with 300 recorded minutes a month for calls and meetings together, then 10¢ a minute. Notes written from Zoom's own transcript don't use any minutes.
Can I use it with Google Meet or Teams? Meeting links, yes (choose Google Meet or Teams as the video link). Automatic notes are Zoom-only for now; for Meet or Teams, upload the recording or transcript on the client's record.
